I was thinking

about how easy the summertime is. Staying up all night doing whatever I felt like until I passed out on the couch, sleeping until 2pm only to wake up to start it all over again. I’m grateful for being in school, learning every day, living on my own, learning about myself, meeting new people, strengthening relationships I don’t know what I’d do without. But there’s just something about living life like it’s summer that I miss on this particular Tuesday.

Reminiscing on old times just wants me to keep continuing to be happy, continuing to live life to the fullest, & loving life. I want life to just keep getting better. The uncertainty of my future is nerve-racking but exciting. Two summers ago was my favorite summer out of the other 17. It was the best time of my life, too. Thanks for catching kittens, playing Playstation 1 games with me, eating chunky chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, & watching movies (and Arrested Development!) in bed with me. 

Being young & carefree is great but being older & carefree will be just as great too. Cheers to the past, cheers to the future. Here’s to love, here’s to happiness.
